FEATURE: JOBS
Jobs that show what went where, and why
A job ties inventory to the work it supports: a client install, a work order, a ticket or an office move. Capsultory records the assets that go out on each job and the stock it uses, so you can see what went where and bill for it.

A practical guide
Why track by job
Without jobs, inventory only tells you that something left. With jobs, it tells you who it went to and what work it was for, which is what billing and audits need.
Jobs for IT teams
New hire setups, office moves and break fix tickets all move hardware. A job per ticket keeps the trail clean.

Common questions
Can an asset be on more than one job?
An asset sits on one open job at a time. Adding it to another job moves it.
Does stock used come off inventory?
Yes. It comes off the chosen store's count when you record it.
Can I bill from it?
The job lists the assets and stock used, with the stock total at selling price, and the job sheet PDF lists every item for your invoice.
