What is Capsultory?
Capsultory is IT asset management and inventory software for small IT teams, MSPs and retail stores. It runs as a Windows app, and any phone camera works as the barcode scanner.
How much does Capsultory cost?
IT Assets is $99 USD a month for a single site and $249 a month for up to 5 locations with unlimited assets. Enterprise pricing is custom. Every plan starts with a 14 day free trial, no card required.
Can several PCs work on the same inventory?
Yes. Enterprise mode keeps one shared inventory in a folder on your network share. Each PC writes only its own change log, so nobody overwrites anybody, and changes reach the other PCs within a few seconds.
Where is my data stored?
On your own computer or your own network share, saved automatically with a backup copy. You can also back up to your own Google Drive or OneDrive. Capsultory runs no server that holds your inventory.
Can I import from Snipe-IT, Lansweeper or Excel?
Yes. Capsultory imports from Snipe-IT, Lansweeper, Excel and CSV, and pulls devices from Microsoft Intune, Jamf and SCCM. Columns are detected and duplicates are skipped.
Do I need a barcode scanner?
No. Any phone camera scans in iOS Safari or Android Chrome with no app to install. USB barcode scanners also work.
