RX WORK QUEUE

A simple Rx workflow for independent pharmacies.

If you run a small pharmacy and want one place to see what is waiting, Capsultory Rx has a work queue. Rxs move from to do to in progress, trouble, ready and picked up. Filling an Rx picks the lot with the earliest expiry, counts it down and writes the dispensing log, so stock and workflow never drift apart. Expired, recalled or short lots cannot be filled. Callbacks and follow-ups sit under the queue, and each patient record holds allergies, medical conditions, comments and counselling history, with an allergy warning shown before you fill.

This is a workflow board, not a full pharmacy management system. It has no insurance claims, billing or e-prescribing, so pharmacies that need those keep running their existing system and use Capsultory Rx beside it for lots, expiry and recalls.

Drugs are tracked by DIN, with strength, form, manufacturer, and unit of measure. Controlled substances are flagged by CDSA schedule so they stand out on sight. Stock is held per lot, per store, with expiry dates that raise a warning before a lot turns into a write-off. Every fill is logged against the specific lot it came from, which is what makes a recall lookup possible, and refills are one click that counts itself down.

Scanning a linked pack barcode pulls up the drug and its lots straight away. Expired lots are excluded from dispensable stock, and reorder suggestions raise when what you can actually dispense runs low.

IMPORT AND RECALL

Bring your drug list in. Run a recall in seconds.

Load your drug master and opening lots from a CSV or spreadsheet report. DINs that lost their leading zeros in Excel are padded back to eight digits, and an unclear expiry date is held back for you to fix instead of being guessed. When a recall notice arrives, enter the DIN and lot to see what is on the shelf and every fill made from that lot, then quarantine it so it cannot be dispensed.
